Site details
Site description: Located around 24 km south of Bogor. On June 2003, this area is combined with Gunung Halimun (IBA JID13) National Park and form Gunung Halimun-Salak National Park.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance that meets the thresholds for at least one criterion described in the Global Standard for the Identification of KBAs.
Additional biodiversity: Non-bird biodiversity: Panthera pardus, Sus verrucosus, Hylobates moloch, Presbytis comata, Trachypithecus auratus (MacKinnon et.al. 1982, Whitten et.al. 1996)
