Site description: A rocky coastline with screes and glaciers, extending from 77°40'N 70°40'W to 78°20'N 72°50'W.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance that meets the thresholds for at least one criterion described in the Global Standard for the Identification of KBAs.
Additional biodiversity: Internationally important area for extremely large numbers of Alle alle. Colonies extend along c.160 km of coastline and inland along glaciers.
