Site details
Site description: Wide valley of river Belaya and theirs tributary Dakh. Broadleaved forests covers the slopes of not so high mountains, in wet places alder forest dominate. There are some meadows near the stream which are used for haymaking. The only breding place for Neophron pernopterius and Falco peregrinus in Adygeya Republic.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
