Site details

Site description: The mouth of the Yahagigawa river area extends to the cities of Nishio and Hekinan. Since the present course of the river was created about 400 years ago, alluvial and a series of reclamation works have been made, resulting in the current geographic features. Along the dry riverbed areas with concrete embankments, Phragmites australis and other plants grow.
