Site details


Site description: Located in Wulong County, 20 km east from the county town. Areas of the IBA below 1,400 m are mostly converted to agricultural land, or fir and pine plantation. The areas with thin soil are dominated by scrub.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
Additional biodiversity: Non-bird biodiversity: Black Langur occurs at this site.
