Site description: Located adjacent to the Qinling mountains. The main habitats in the IBA are temperate montane broadleaf-coniferous mixed forest and coniferous forest (c.60%), and there is also some scrub and agricultural land.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance that meets the thresholds for at least one criterion described in the Global Standard for the Identification of KBAs.
