Site details

Site description: The IBA includes Gongping Reservoir, which is one of the most important reservoirs in Guangdong Province with a water catchment area of 317 km2. The shallow sections of the reservoir provide roosting and foraging sites for waterbirds, and the nearly agricultural land is also used by foraging waterbirds.
