Site description: Located around 71 km north-east of Ciamis.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
Additional biodiversity: Non-bird biodiversity: Hylobates moloch, Trachypithecus auratus (Nijman & Sozer 1995, Whitten et.al.1996, Nijman 1997).
Habitats
Summary of habitats in KBA: The area is covered by lowland rainforest and lower mountain rainforest on volcanic (MacKinnon et.al.1982). Although only few information already known from this site, but based on the good forest condition it is predicted that the site is important for biodiversity.
