Site details
Site description: The site is located in a mountainous part of the Bashkir Republic, to the south-east of Meseda village, near the border with Chelyabinsk region.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
Additional biodiversity: The avifauna of the IBA shows a typical Taiga zone species composition.Available bird data is rather poor and more research should be carried out.
