Site details
Site description: The land of Lanbowan has been sold to a developer but development has been postponed because of problems with land ownership. It has recently been suggested that a wetland park should be build using the natural wetland system. Qilihe at Jiangpu is an important site for migratory shorebirds during spring and autumn.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
