Threats
Summary of threats to biodiversity at KBA: The site is seriously threatened by construction of a large dam in the marshland which began in 1996. This will flood areas of marsh-land and wet meadows. Other threats include hunting and the expansion of agriculture. A quarry is to reopen at the southern end of the site.
