Site details
Site description: Located on the Hulun Buir Plateau. The northern tip of the IBA is a hilly area (at around 650-1,000 m), with flat land to the south (at around 550-700 m). The wetlands at Dalai Nur have extensive areas of reed and other water plants.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
