Site details
Site description: Biluo Xueshan is the watershed between the Nu Jiang and Lanchang Jiang rivers, with the Nu Jiang valley to the west and the Lanchang Jiang valley to the east. Most of the mountains in the area are above 4,000 m. The maximum vertical difference between the peaks and the bottom of the valley is 3,000 m, with most slopes at 40 degrees. The climate in the river valleys is southern subtropical, with a cold climate in the mountains. The vegetation cover is 43.7%, with 16.53% scrub and sparse woodland.
