Site details

Site description: Located in Yang Xian county, on the southern slopes of the central Qinling mountains. The nature reserve was established to protect Giant Panda and its habitats, and there has been a GEF site management project since 1997.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
Additional biodiversity: Non-bird biodiversity: No information.
Delineation rationale: Polygon from World Database of Protected Areas (WDPA). Accuracy good.
