Site details
Site description: Located in the north-western part of Taishun County. The IBA is in the southern section of the Donggong Shan ridges, with the main submit Baiyunjian at 1,611 m.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
Additional biodiversity: Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected plants include Emmenopterys henryi, Bretschneidera sinensis and Fokienia hodginsii. Animals include Panthera pardus, Macaca mulatta and Capricornis sumatraensis.
