Site description: An area of plains and low hills with extensive cereal cultivation and small patches of scrub.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance that meets the thresholds for at least one criterion described in the Global Standard for the Identification of KBAs.
Additional biodiversity: An important site for steppic species and for foraging and dispersing raptors. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aegypius monachus (non-breeding) and Aquila adalberti (non-breeding).
