Site description: A group of small islands with rocky coastlines in the English Channel.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance that was identified using previously established criteria and thresholds for the identification of Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas (IBAs) and for which available data indicate that it does not meet global KBA criteria and thresholds set out in the Global Standard.
Additional biodiversity: This is an important site for breeding seabirds.
Delineation rationale: Bernard Deceuninck (June 2014): Includes a large seaward extension area (232918 ha) delineated on the basis of foraging area of breeding seabirds. Marguerite Tarzia (June 2014): added marine type 2, Seaward extension to breeding colony
