It contains the Caserio Huayllapampa and the Iscoconga populated center. Awareness campaigns could be conducted for owners of agricultural fields, along with providing alternative sustainable production methods. The National Coordination Group of KBAs has a conservation promotion and monitoring committee, which is composed of various governmental and civil society institutions that will work to promote conservation actions in the KBAs.
Delineation rationale: The KBA border in the north-east follows the highway 3N, from the Stone Forest Los Sapitos until the SPR Hatchery in Cajamarca.
