Site description: Located around 21 km east of Bandung.
Rationale for qualifying as KBA: This site qualifies as a Key Biodiversity Area of international significance because it meets one or more previously established criteria and thresholds for identifying sites of biodiversity importance (including Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites, and Key Biodiversity Areas)
Additional biodiversity: Non-bird biodiversity: The important fauna in this area is Cuon alpinus, Hylobates moloch, Presbytis comata and Trachypithecus auratus (Anon 1998b).
Habitats
Summary of habitats in KBA: Generally, the habitat type devided into mountain rainforest, garden, pinus forest and natural forest (Anon 1998b, Whitten et.al.1996). The forest, is surrounded by ladang including bamboo garden and fish pond (Erftemeijer 1987).
